As big users of power, the Trevenas were looking to find a renewable energy solution which would reduce their energy bills. However, they faced a challenge which meant that they were unsure where to start. The roof of their property is heritage listed, meaning that installing solar panels was not a straightforward task. To help the Trevenas make the most of the roof space they could use, Neil from Solahart recommended a fully integrated system which included a Solahart Powerstore hot water system, plenty of solar panels, and a Solahart Home Energy Management System (HEMS) so they could measure exactly how much energy was being generated. In just the first year, the Trevenas halved the cost they incurred, and expect to see even further reductions in their energy bills, all while saving the planet.
